EKU Counseling & Educational Psychology is now a Host site for the GSA-NCC Credential
National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) offers Graduate Students the opportunity to apply for their first professional credential during their graduate program. It’s called the National Certified Counselor (NCC) credential. The NCC credential is the only master’s level, professional counselor certification for which students may apply while still enrolled. In order to participate, a school must require courses in all of the NBCC required coursework areas and must require at least 48 semester or 72 quarter hours. Test Administration dates October and April. For more information about national certification and the graduate student applications program, go to nbcc.org. Or contact Dr. Deneia Thomas at deneia.thomas@eku.edu or 859-622-8654.
