Human Services – Board Certified Practitioner

CCE’s Human Services – Board Certified Practitioner (HS-BCP ™) was created in 2008 by CCE with the assistance of the National Organization for Human Services (NOHS) in consultation with the Council for Standards in Human Service Education (CSHSE). The credentialing process is designed for human services practitioners, including those holding associate’s, bachelor’s, and advanced degrees.

The grandparenting application is available by clicking the “Application” link on the webpage. Qualified individuals who apply while the grandparenting option is in effect will be required to take the first version of the Human Services Practitioner Examination for norming purposes; but pass/fail criteria will not apply. This group will include experienced practitioners, as well as graduates of Human Services education programs.

Please note: There has been a change to the previous eligibility requirements. Upcoming graduates (those graduating anytime in 2009), as well as recent graduates of Human Services degree programs may apply for Provisional HS-BCP status during grandparenting and sit for the pilot/norming examination. If you are a student or recent graduate who has not accumulated the required experience to apply for full certification as an HS-BCP, please refer to the updated application for details, or contact CCE http://www.cce-global.org/credentials-offered/hsbcp.
