Degree Requirements:
I. Entrance:
- A. Complete Application:

- B. Send Official Transcript(s) of all
college work directly to the Graduate School. An
official transcript must be sent directly from
the sending institution, and bear the seal and
signature of the registrar from the sending
institution. Graduates from all schools other
than Eastern Kentucky University should contact
their registrar(s) and request the official copy
of their transcript(s) be forwarded directly to
the address listed below:

- C. Submit satisfactory official scores on
one of the recommended tests below. Must take
Entrance Exam prior to the second semester of
enrollment. Please code EKU as a score

- Miller Analogies Test (MAT) with a score
of 20

- Off campus or on demand Cost $75

III. Graduation:
- Planned Program/Planned Program Changes (1st
Semester)
- Complete 30 Graduate Hours
- Admission to Candidacy before last 12 hours
- Application for Graduation will be mailed
after Admission to Candidacy has been approved
- On-line Comprehensive Examination
IV. Certification and/or Rank Change: In the last
semester of your program file the teacher
certification and/or rank change application (TC-1)
form. This form should be sent directly to the
Office of Student Services (Combs 423). Your
instructor will distribute the form in the last
semester of your program. If you do not receive a
TC-1 before the mid term of the semester, please
call the unit coordinator at 859-622-1129.

Master’s, you must first apply and be admitted
to the Educational Leadership Master’s degree
program.
- Have Three Years Teaching Experience.
