Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education (I.E.C.E.)

 

Application Process:
 
1. Complete all the requirements outlined by the Graduate School. 

2. Complete and submit the following in order to be considered for 
admission to the M.A.T. program.

·         Transcripts indicating a bachelor's degree and any additional course 
work from an accredited institution with a overall GPA of 3.00 
OR
a GPA of 3.00 in the last 60 hours of coursework 
OR
A Master's Degree

·         GRE scores of 350 verbal and 350 quantitative
OR
a score of 388 on the Miller Analogies Test 


NOTE -Applicants who took the GRE before
October 1, 2002 
should discuss GRE requirements with Kim Alexander-

·         A professional resume

·         A professional autobiography (2-4 pages)

·         Three letters of reference documenting relevant life/work/educational 
experience

·         Two "Dispositions" written assignments

Assignment #2

·         An interview with the M.A.T. committee (after all of the materials listed
above have been submitted)

NOTE: After admission to the program, but prior to graduation, 
candidates will be required to pass I.E.C.E. state specialty exam.
