Office
of Teacher Education Services
The Eastern Kentucky University, College of Education
and many Kentucky school districts require background checks for students enrolled
in education courses where contact with children will occur. This is to ensure
a safe environment for everyone involved.
The Eastern Kentucky University College of Education
has an agreement with Verified Credentials to do background checks for students
in certain education classes. We have chosen this company because of their work
with educational institutions, the thorough nature of their screening and reasonable
fee.
