Completion of appropriate PRAXIS II, PLT exams and Kentucky Interdisciplinary Early Childhood exam is an EKU requirement for undergraduate graduation. Successful completion of required exams is a certification requirement. Passing scores for Kentucky are determined by the Education Professional Standards Board. NOTE: Assessment results must be received by EKU before a recommendation for certification can be processed. Score reports from ETS will be mailed to you approximately 4 weeks after your test date. If you coded EKU as a score recipient, we will receive your scores electronically. If you did not code EKU as a score recipient, you will need to provide us a copy of your score report. Students taking a Kentucky Specialty exam are asked to provide a copy of your Kentucky Specialty exam score. The mailing address is:

Seven national test dates for PRAXIS II and PLT are scheduled each year. Careful planning during the junior and senior year is recommended because certain majors require more than one PRAXIS II exam which may require more than one testing date. Refer to the online sites for test dates and registration deadlines. SLLA exams are scheduled five times per year. Kentucky Special Test of Instruction & Administrative Practices is scheduled four times per year. Refer to the online sites for test dates and registration deadlines. Individual PRAXIS score reports may be viewed at EPSB Online website (You will need to create an account if you don't already have one by selecting "Need a login?" ). Undergraduate students may view their CARES documents to see if EKU has received scores. If needed, you may email a copy of your scores to coecert@eku.edu or fax them to 859-622-2755.
