offers the Master of Arts degree in Education with emphases in the
following: elementary /middle grade education, gifted/talented
education, reading/writing, library science, and secondary
teaching fields. Fifth and sixth year nondegree continuing
certification programs (Rank II and Rank I) are offered in
elementary/middle grade education, library science, and secondary
teaching fields. Complete details regarding these programs are included
in the undergraduate and graduate university catalogues.
Alternative certification programs are available for students who hold
