The Master of Arts in
Teaching is a degree program designed to help individuals holding
non-teaching baccalaureate degrees in appropriate fields acquire
teacher certification for birth-primary elementary, middle grade, secondary
or P-12 levels. In addition to meeting the general admission
criteria for graduate study, applicants for each option must
meet the requirements for the specific program prior to initial
enrollment in the program.
Application for the M.A.T. program DOES NOT GUARANTEE admission
into the program. Program candidates are selected based upon
their qualifications.
